Ramón Santoyo

Ramón has over 38 years of experience interfacing finance and technology. His experience includes 12 years at Banco Nacional de Mexico on various positions including investment banking and retail banking. He left the bank as Head of Electronic Banking to start the first commercial Internet Service Provider in the country, Internet de Mexico, which was successfully sold five years later.

Ever since, he has been active advising banks, financial institutions and disruptive startups. He is also an Independent Board Member at Banco del Bajío, where he heads the Digital Transformation Committee.

Ramón holds a Law Degree from Universidad Iberoamericana and a international MBA from Madrid’s IE Business School.
